A beautiful, balanced vintage, although the season began with a wild heat spike in June. Gorge Crest gently slopes south on the north side of the Columbia River, only 4 miles from our estate. Our team farms the site. We utilize an Alsatian inspired technique of extending skin contact with the clusters prior to pressing in order to build texture The cool climate cultivation results in beautiful acid balance with perfumed floral notes. Sandy and volcanic soils add spice and mineral elements.
